The health staff of Plato Bunyan Dairy Farming facilities deals with the protective health services for any animals being raised at the facility as well as with the regular examinations and disease screening, and the treatment of sick animals. Vaccination and fighting against parasitic disease programs are applied for animals as a protective health service. Medical screening of all animals in terms of infectious animal diseases, routine foot care of adult female breeding animals, and the examination of their udders and reproductive organs are carried out once every three months. Our veterinary surgeons and technicians perform any interventions to be made for animals at the special application places, not at the stables the animals are in. Vaccinations are performed at vaccine ways, routine udder examinations at milking parlor, foot cares at foot-care station, reproductive organ examinations and inseminations at examination station, deliveries and post delivery examinations and treatments at delivery room, and the animals requiring long term treatment are treated at the hospital. Feed consumptions, feed interest, lying positions, and rumination rates of our animals are monitored daily.
